TURI workshop 21/22 March 2011 Brussels

The TURI public workshop on 21 March 2011 focused on two aspects: The first part dealt with the recent tendencies towards decentralisation of collective bargaining. In this respect, the results of a recent Eurofound research project on sector-level bargaining and possibilities for deviations at company level were presented. During the second part of the workshop there were presentations on the impact of the economic crisis on collective bargaining and wage developments in Europe.

On 22 March 2011 an internal meeting in order to discuss the establishment of a TURI working group on wages an collective bargaining took place. For more information on the establishment of this WG please contact Thorsten Schulten.
